What is Classlist?
Classlist is a private moderated social network built to support school communities. It is used by parents and carers. It is not affiliated to the school, and teachers and staff are not members.
What is it used for?
The PC uses Classlist to communicate with the parents and carers of learners at CLPS. We also use it to fundraise and to manage our events and clubs. You will need to register for Classlist if you want to access any of the clubs run by the Parent Council.
When you register, you will be assigned to your child’s year group; you can then message and share information with other parents in your child’s class. You can also join existing special interest groups (e.g., Fundraising and Events or Additional Support Needs) or establish new groups, e.g. create a group for your child’s birthday party, etc.
Classlist offers a search function so you can easily find other parents/children and make contact through the message function. Please note that there is a function to search by location; we recommend that you disable this if you do not want to make your address public to the other users.
Classlist also offers a marketplace for you to buy and sell goods and list lost property to others in the group.
How do I join?
You can access Classlist through your PC, or you can download the App through your App store.
Please use this link to join Canaan Lane Primary School’s Classlist. Only parents and carers of learners at CLPS and CLELC will be approved to join. Once your child has left Canaan Lane you will no longer be permitted to access the group.
